What to do when someone passes away...
AT HOME
If your loved one passes away within their home. It is advised that your first point of contact should always be emergency services, where an on call doctor will attend the house to certify your loved ones passing. At this point you would then contact your preferred funeral director.
IN HOSPITAL OR WITHIN A CARE FACILITY
When your loved one passes when in care - the care staff will notify the on call doctor, who will then certify the passing. Then yourself or the care staff would contact your preferred funeral director.
