Alex Muir Funeral Directors is a family-run, completely independent funeral directors that was established in 1938. That is over 80 years of dedicated and caring service to our local and wider community. Over the years we have seen many things change, but the one thing that has always remained is our dedication to providing discreet, respectful, dignified and sympathetic service to all who use our service.

Due to the longevity of our service, we are very well known for our level of service and aftercare. We come highly recommended by all who have used us in the past and strive to make sure that this reputation is continued each and every time our services are required.

For your ease and convenience, we have two branches in Ayrshire from which you can choose from; one based in New Cumnock and the second Auchinleck. We also not have a branch in Dumfriesshire, based in Kelloholm. All branches are open 7 days a week and we have a 24 Hour Service for all our enquiries. Wherever you are, we are able to provide for you a range of caring and discreet funeral packages.
